Combining elements of Primus, ZZ Top and Nick Cave with a healthy dose of blues and grunge, Project 62 have created a sonic mash that cuts the gimmicks, achieves completion and screams badass. Lead by Jason Lawler’s monster vocals, the 6-piece flick through genre’s at a ludicrous rate. Squealing, overdriven, deep, funky and dark, Project 62’s music bends genres restraints and hits hard to create something completely their own. Though their sound is difficult to label, Project 62’s appeal is undeniable. Equal parts dark and fun, the guys take listeners past sanity’s edge to engulf them in a world that’s truly their own.
