Professor's Choice Information

Professor's Choice® offers instructors an opportunity to customize texts to better serve their classroom needs. Selecting from an array of publications and publishers, instructors choose only those materials they want to include in their custom-built texts. Professor's Choice® publishing service is offered through Saint Mary's Press, a non profit publishing house founded by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, a teaching order and champion in the field of modern education. Saint Mary's Press has invested in state-of-the-art technology that allows this partnering of publishers and customers in order to better serve the customers' needs. Professor's Choice® is groundbreaking in offering affordable, customer-selected material drawn from a consortium of respected educational publishers. By selective use of chapters, sections, and articles from previously published works, educators create their own customized texts. Educators may even include their syllabi or other teacher-created or selected materials. The custom book is then printed, bound, and shipped by Professor's Choice® to campus bookstores or to an alternative destination of the educator's choice.
