Proactive Fire System PTY. LTD (PFS) is a newly established fire detection equipments manufacturer in Sydney, New South Wales. The aim of PFS is bringing the latest fire protection equipments to Australia and protecting our life and properties. Line type linear heat detectors are the main product of PFS. Nowadays, linear heat detectors (LHD) are widely used in industrial fire protections. However, all the LHDs which used in Australia are import from US, UK and some other countries. PFS will change this situation. An Australian made LHD has been placed on the market. The PFS LHDs will have two major models, PFS1000 series which is digital model and PFS2000 series for analog model. PFS1000 has 3 typical alarm temperatures, 70 ¡ , 88 ¡ and 105 ¡ . It has been listed on Activfire base on AS1603.1-1997, certificate No. APF-2474. PFS2000 series is the latest design in fire industry. It is a resettable heat detector which can be used in a flexible fire protection, which means the detector can be set after alarming if the reason for alarm is only overheat. It is unnecessary to replace the sensor cable after alarming. The alarming temperature forPFS2000 can be adjusted with a step of 1 ¡ from 85 ¡ to 105 ¡ .
