Fluid Power Services Pty Ltd is a wholly Tasmanian owned and operated company specialising in all facets of the design, fabrication, installation, sales & service of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment! Two people, a small shed and a kitchen table saw the "birth" of Fluid Power Services back in May 1991. After leasing for the first 6 years, in August 1997 we moved into our own premises on the Corner of Durkins and Stoney Rise Roads, Spreyton. In March 2006 we found a permanent home for our Launceston operation with the site being 121 - 125 Georgetown Road, Newnham. With Rod Callahan, Richard Lawson & the team's many years of combined service to the industry, we have the experience to design from scratch a solution for any hydraulic / pneumatic application. Rod, a qualified Fitter & Machinist completed his apprenticeship at Comalco Aluminium. He took the jump into hydraulics firstly at HM Bamfords and then Delta Hydraulics. Richard, also a qualified Fitter & Machinist gained his qualifications at Delta Hydraulics, moving through the ranks to a sales position.
