Precision Agriculture Centre Information

The Precision Agriculture Center was founded in 2017, The VDBorne Future Farm in 2020 and in 2023 we bring all training, collaboration and innovation activities together in the VDBorne Campus. Jacob van den Borne has walked the earth gathering precision agriculture solutions to try on his farm since 2008. Since 2011 he is inviting universities, companies and experts to try solutions on his fields. This is called the Making Sense programme and since 2017 this grew up into what is today the Precision Agriculture Center at VDBorne Campus in Southern Netherlands on the Belgium-Dutch border. What works runs on his farm, what is getting there he is helping forward. We have been testing new arable land farming methods and became a trusted beacon. Jacob has made all his data and the 16 actions Precision Agriculture Cycle available, with the goal to have more companies involved in precision agriculture in order to go broader and deeper in doing durable and scalable business with (mother) nature.
