Precinct Reporter Group Information

The Precinct Reporter’s journey has been a staple in the southern California African-American community which began in 1965 in the midst of the Civil Rights era. As a leading black-owned, print publication in the region, the objective has always been and still remains, to advance our community. The Precinct Reporter has and continues to directly impact the local community by providing timely and accurate news, granting scholarships to high school and college youth, hosting family resource events and serving as a leader on local boards for various social change organizations and educational institutions to make certain that Black residents have equitable access to area services and opportunities. The Precinct Reporter serves the Inland Empire and parts of Orange and Los Angeles Counties by providing accurate information primarily geared towards supporting the African-American community.
