The PR-Alpha Association was founded during the summer of 2006 by students and teachers from the Communication and PR specialization within University of Sapientia Tîrgu-Mureș. The purpose of the association was to create the base for students to participate in extracurricular activities, which facilitate them in finding a job in the future. The main purpose is to involve the students for Communication and PR in various activities - mainly within the field of Public Relations, which help their professional development, this way creating the first generation of Hungarian speaking PR professionals from Romania.
