The Master of Product Design and Development program is designed for professionals eager to master the concepts and tools of project design and development. Ranked as a Top 30 Design Thinking School, students learn about managing creativity and design, form and function, project management, customer-focused innovation, research, and financial and organization issues. All courses are taught from the perspective of product design and development in this highly focused curriculum. Professors and guest presenters offer students their knowledge and expertise in the product design and development field. Designed to accommodate the busy schedules of engineering and technical professionals, the two-year graduate program takes place on Northwestern University’s Evanston campus one day a week on alternating Fridays and Saturdays. The degreed program is a must for mid-to-senior-level, technically trained professionals who are involved in the design and development of new products.
