PowerNet is an electricity network management company delivering safe, efficient and reliable power to communities across southern New Zealand. Based in the south, we manage electricity networks across Southland, Invercargill, Clutha, parts of Otago and parts of the Queenstown-Lakes and Central Otago areas. The networks we manage include The Power Company, Electricity Invercargill, OtagoNet and Lakeland Network, collectively delivering electricity to more than 77,000 consumers. We’re one of New Zealand’s largest electricity network management companies, with more than 300 people working across our offices and depots in Invercargill, Gore, Lumsden, Te Anau, Balclutha and Frankton. Our work spans everything from operating, maintaining and developing electricity networks to engineering, asset management, network operations, field services and planning for the changing energy needs of our communities.
