PISCES is the not for profit market led initiative that facilitates increased productivity through the collaborative development of data exchange standards across the property sector. Over the last 5 years we have developed a strong body of Standards that deliver upon the Open Standards and Re-use goals of the new Government policy in that they offer: • Harmonisation – components can be re-used in other exchanges without the need for continual re-invention • Support documentation and updates – to help with implementation and longevity • Neutrality – all Standards are developed to work with the products of any software vendor In turn PISCES Standards are now enabling organizations to reap considerable benefits including: • Time saving through streamlining of common processes • Better management of data through accurate data collection and reduction of human error • Cost saving through automation of manual processes • Increased transparency through consistent data formats.
