Migdal Group and its subsidiaries provide it's services to two million Individuals and business customers. מגדל קבוצת ביטוח, פנסיה ופיננסים מובילה בישראל רואה את עצמה בעלת תפקיד מרכזי בחברה אנושית בריאה ויציבה כחברה מובילה במשק הישראלי מזה 80 שנה, תפקידנו לנהל את כספי הלקוחות באחריות ולהעניק ביטחון כלכלי לכ-2.3 מיליון לקוחות אשר הפקידו בידינו את ההגנה הביטוחית, את החיסכון הפנסיוני ואת ההשקעות לטווח הארוך. הקבוצה פועלת בתחומי הביטוח, הפנסיה והגמל. פעילות הביטוח של הקבוצה מתבצעת באמצעות מגדל ביטוח, ופעילות הפנסיה והגמל של הקבוצה, מתבצעת באמצעות חברות הבנות של מגדל ביטוח: מגדל מקפת ויוזמה לעצמאים. הקבוצה מחזיקה גם בסוכנויות ביטוח ועיקר ההחזקה כאמור הינה באמצעות מגדל סוכנויות. חברת האם של מגדל ביטוח, מגדל אחזקות ביטוח ופיננסים בע"מ, פועלת אף בתחום השירותים הפיננסים הכולל בעיקר שירותי ניהול נכסים פיננסים (ניהול קרנות נאמנות וניהול תיקים) ובנוסף שיווק להשקעות וכן פעילויות אחרות: בנקאות להשקעות, הפצה ופעילות נוסטרו. הבעלות על "מגדל אחזקות ביטוח ופיננסים בע"מ" מתחלקת בין: אליהו 1959 בע"מ (כ-68.46%) והציבור (כ-31.54%). החברה מדורגת בדירוג 1Aa לאיתנות פיננסית (IFSR) על ידי מידרוג בע"מ המתמחה בדירוג האשראי במשק הישראלי. הדירוג משקף בין היתר את מעמדה של החברה כמובילה בענף ביטוח החיים וחיסכון ארוך טווח. היעילות התפעולית, תמהיל העסקים המפוזר, עודף הון גבוה ביחס לדרישות הרגולטור ומוניטין החברה בעיני הלקוחות וסוכני הביטוח.
