PilatesHere was founded in 2004 by Kyrie Hardiman. She certified as an instructor with Body Arts and Science in 2003, but has been practicing Pilates since 1994. As well as private, duet and small group classes, Kyrie also offers Teacher Training Courses both fully comprehensive and mat courses, workshops and continued professional education. With the ever extending research and knowledge of the body and the development of sports science, all exercise and movement based regimes have naturally evolved. Practitioners are always looking for the best, most effective, most efficient means of execution. The pilates technique is been no exception. Whilst there are still most of Joseph Pilates original exercises in the repertoire, they themselves have been modified where appropriate and new ones added. Needless to say, the genius of Joseph Pilates is still very much apparent within the Pilates technique. At PilatesHere we strive to continue to be creative and forward-thinking teachers, whilst never losing sight of the fundamental principles of the work. It is our responsibility as teachers to uphold the integrity of the Pilates method.
