Established in Coeur d’Alene in 1990, Phones Plus is a Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer with eighteen stores and about 100 employees in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. Phones Plus is the only locally-owned Premium Retailer in each of the markets we serve. “It’s been great to represent Verizon Wireless these twenty years”, noted Chris Cheeley, President of Phones Plus. “They’ve invested millions in our local networks. Fortunately for us, no other carrier comes close to delivering the coverage and service that customers want in Idaho, Washington and Oregon.” Phones Plus has demonstrated their commitment to their communities by getting involved in many local fund raising events. Sometimes bringing the “FunRaising Ferrari” (a red F430 Spider — their “rolling billboard”), Phone Plus has directly and indirectly raised tens of thousands of dollars for local organizations. From local baseball and softball leagues to the Boys and Girls Club, Young Life, the Women’s Center, Rotary International, American Cancer Society, Humane Society, Open Arms Pregnancy Care Center and the Union Gospel Mission and more. When asked why they’ve been so involved with so many local groups, Cheeley responded, “These communities have been key to the success of Phones Plus. We enjoy giving back, and hope it makes a difference.”
