Phase Motion Control was established in 1994 as an adventure by designers with a vision to develop Power Electronics in emerging applications and to harvest technical and economic opportunities. Right from the beginning it was clear that traditional electric motors could not exploit the full potential of Power Electronics, above all in the Motion Control and Energy industries. Thanks to its technical capacity and the expertise of its personnel, PMC made a radical change in Permanent Magnet High Torque Motors by adopting a fluid design concept enabling high performance in tight spaces and became a world leader in Motion Control Industry. Strategic placement of PMC in China in 1999 gave easy access to Rare Earth Elements (REE) and readiness to capture business opportunities in Automation and Robotics on the Asian marketplace.
