Our Founder and Managing Director, Jared Genser is an international human-rights lawyer with expertise in arbitrary detention and the United Nations. Some of Jared's former and current clients include Liu Xiaobo, Leopoldo López, Aung San Suu Kyi, and Desmond Tutu. He is also the founder of Freedom Now, an independent non-profit which works to free prisoners of conscience. Before starting Perseus Strategies, he was a partner with the global law firm DLA Piper and a management consultant with McKinsey & Co.
