Pear Tree is a training practice . This means we have trainee GPs FY2 and ST3s in various stages of training at the surgery at most times . The practice gets good feedback from the trainees . Dr Guy Mackenzie one of the three GP partners is the qualified trainer for the practice and has allocated time for training tutorials each week . He is responsible for our trainee doctors FY2s and ST3s (registrars) . Dr Sarah Ball is responsible for the teaching of the Warwick Medical students who regularly attend the practice . The other GPs help with ad hoc training and guidance . We would like to thank the patients who volunteer to talk about their medical history to the students . This provides valuable experience for the students which we all appreciate very much .
