We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

Estate Management Studies, the newest division of programs at The French Culinary Institute's New York campus —and the only program of its kind in the United States— is designed to equip household staff with the skills to manage any gracious residence. Courses are developed and taught by our dean, Chris Ely, a renowned private service professional who began his career at Buckingham Palace as a footman and member of Queen Elizabeth II's household staff. Our programs provide hands-on training in the techniques and artistry of fine service, with specialized coursework in culinary, cleaning, laundry essentials, and more. Chris Ely is also available for private in-home consulting services upon request.

Cafe Paradiso is a Costa Rican company established in 2006 to produce 100% Arabica gourmet coffee, SHB category, nurtured between 1500 to 1700 meters high. Our coffees are blends of the Los Santos region, which includes Santa Maria de Dota and Tarrazú, two of the most famous coffee-growing areas of our country and which are distinguished by a pleasant acidity in the cup, while offering a perfect combination of aroma and body.
