Parallax Media Ventures Information

SUMMARY: Parallax Media Ventures is a boutique developer of feature films. Parallax was founded by Kevin Richardson, and works with animation and feature film professionals. Parallax splits its work between inbound licensing and independent motion picture development, and also works as guns for hire to motion picture investors and developers. For feature film animatics we build up a team of typically 8-10 feature film story artists, preferably half locals (if overseas), plus editorial support that would begin during the 2nd or 3rd iterations (passes) of the animatic. The animatic process can take 6 months to 1 year, depending on how dialed-in the story is at launch, director and investor feedback and the decision making processes, and what the stakeholders as a group decide to do with the test audience feedback after moderated test screenings.
