Oztrack was founded by Steve Bennett in 1996. Steve Bennett grew up in Blacktown which is a suburb of Sydney. He attended Shelley Public School and Mitchell High School. In 1981 & 1982 he worked in a variety of Office jobs in as well as playing State level squash as well as coaching it for money. In 1983-1986 he attended Macquarie University and graduated with a B.Sc.DipEd. During the university years Steve competed in Sydney Inyercoub athletics and participated in many funs runs, as well as completing a Marathon in 1984. Since 1987 has worked in various secondary schools as a Science/Maths teachers mostly but also had many classes of PD/H/PE and Computers. In 1994 he started coaching a private squad of athletes known as the Flyers. In 1996 in the buildup to the Sydney Olympics Steve focused alot of energy into athletics and this developed into a site that started retailing ebooks electronically in 2002 and then later the CD-Rom and DVD were released. Steve is married with two children. In what little time he has left from Family, Work and Athletics commitments Steve spends time with his son Drag Racing and is competing in Bracket Eliminations events in the Super Street category in his 11 second HSV Clubsport at the Western Sydney International Dragway. In 2005 www.futuresprinting.com was launched and Steve is now the Technical Administrator and major content provider for the site.
