London-based designers Jess Kaye and Rosie Williams are founders of The OWN Studio, the label bringing a fresh and contemporary approach to wedding and evening wear. Recognised for our impeccable tailoring, sleek silhouettes and exquisite fabrics, The OWN's mission is to create contemporary styles that can become enduring pieces in women’s wardrobes. Handmade at our London atelier, our signature style combines pared-back, contemporary silhouettes with unexpected vintage details resulting in considered, minimal styles for the modern woman. SARTORIAL SUSTAINABILITY We believe formal wear is one of the biggest culprits of ‘wear once’ fashion and this is something we wanted to address. We call it our commitment to being 'Sartorially Sustainable', and it sits at the heart of everything we do. This is why each of our pieces have been designed to become a luxe wardrobe item after the event. Our styles are relaxed, quietly luxurious and beautifully versatile making them easy to restyle and wear again. Our pieces are made in London, keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum and we craft bespoke accessories from our fabric offcuts to reduce any waste. We offer restyling and alteration ideas to help you to reimagine your outfit for other occasions along with our very own in-house dye service so you can dye your gown after your wedding day. Cyclical fashion is not only great for the planet, but it also feels amazingly special to be able to re-wear a special piece again and again.
