Ortech Controls, originally Ortech Industries, was founded in Hillsboro, Oregon (outside of Portland) in 1983 and began by making remote controls for overhead cranes. Within a few years the company shifted its focus to the emerging alternative heating market and began developing automated controls for pellet and biomass stoves, furnaces, and barbeques. In 2006 Ortech moved to Washington where we continue to expand on our long-standing tradition of providing high quality, easy-to-use controllers.
