Oregon Physics is dedicated to developing advanced ion beam instrumentation that positively impacts scientific discovery, modern industry, and human health. Our products range offers advanced ion and electron sources and support components, reliable FIB consumables, and multiplexed ion beam imaging instrumentation. We prioritize projects that will yield a significant impact in research or industry, and we take pride in creating high reliability, high quality, and high-performance products. This approach has led us to cultivate long-term relationships with scientific researchers and instrument designers all over the world. Our collaborations with equipment manufacturers have resulted in significant improvements in spatial resolution and data acquisition times for Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS) instruments. This enhanced instrument performance has resulted in high depth resolution and high throughput SIMS viability for the semiconductor industry, as well as significant gains in SIMS spatial resolution for scientists engaged in a broad range of activities including nuclear forensics, astrochemistry, microbiology, and surface catalyst studies. Since we were founded in 2007, we have partnered with universities and advanced instrumentation manufacturers to develop custom electron sources and optics that have a high impact in industrial and research applications including advanced imaging, nanolithography, and e-beam exposure tools.
