OPTi designs and manufactures chips and chipsets other companies use in their add-on card products. In fact, OPTi has never made sound cards, video cards or USB cards. Unfortunately, we cannot support products we did not make. OPTi no longer makes chips for audio or video. Driver development ended when we sold these divisions in 1997. The last operating system supported was Windows 95. We no longer have the expertise nor do we have the resources to develop updated drivers or drivers for new operating systems. YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT THE COMPANY THAT MADE YOUR SOUND OR VIDEO CARD FOR NEW DRIVERS. They are responsible for providing support and updates. See our Support page for links to some past customers who once used our audio and video controllers. Fortunately, USB cards do not need drivers. They are supported directly by Windows 98 SE and Windows 2000. Linux support should be coming soon.
