Ontario Turfgrass Research Foundation Information

The Canadian leader in turfgrass research funding, the OTRF is dedicated to supporting the continued advancement of turfgrass through research projects. We are focusing on funding projects that will assist the turf industry with improved products, better practices, and sustainable enhancements. The Ontario Turfgrass Research Foundation (OTRF) is funded by support from donors, members, sponsors, and partners. As a charitable foundation and the leader in Canadian turfgrass research funding, we direct funds towards projects that will advance the turf industry with products, practices, and enhancements for sports fields, public parks, residential lawns, golf courses, and municipal greenspaces. We put down roots in 1978 and have continued to provide funds for research that will ensure the sustainability and continued viability of one of nature’s best resources, green grass!
