ONE Sports Nation Information

ONE Sports Nation was born and grown locally in the Phoenix market place as a solution to increase the quality of adult leadership and improve the family experience in youth sports. The concept was built to fill a niche between expensive club level sports and poorly organized recreation level leagues that can taint a players first time experience in youth sports. To many families, Game Day at ONE Sports Nation programs is the best day of the week. At the beginning of 2015, the Founder’s expanded the vision of the Flagship program (Grid Iron Flag Football) and launched four additional programs. Full Court Legends Basketball was developed to leverage the same qualities that made Grid Iron Flag Football successful, including game day jersey of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the participants in order to continue building those family connections through society’s mainstream interests. The same was developed for Field Day Youth Baseball by incorporating Major League Baseball brands in the player’s game day jerseys. ONE Cup Soccer and VolleyUP volleyball were also established. The ONE Sports Nation system has a dual focus to “Prepare youth athletes for the next level of competition (physically, emotionally, and mentally) while keeping kids excited about youth sports.” We recognize that building a better youth sports community means improving the quality of adult leadership which is why all first time coaches are required to participate in our coach clinic. We encourage a healthy balance of “want-to-win” but, “don’t-have-to-win” competitive fun atmosphere. ONE Sports Nation has developed programming that Honors the Game by keeping the program rules as close to high school rules as possible with due consideration for the various age divisions that we serve and teaching kids the right way to play sports, the first time.
