Carrying the concept of "Small Shop Of Reading and Listening", Omuniuum made by people who have love for books and music, since 2007 decided to make Omuniuum as a bookstore as well as distribution outlets or distros of independent band products and works from various cities in Indonesia such as Seringai, Efek Rumah Kaca, Komunal, Rajasinga, Sigmun, Bottlesmoker, Melancholic Bitch, Barasuara Navicula and so forth. In its development, Omuniuum then processed into a hub or a gathering place of many musicians, artists, illustrators, music lovers, journalists and so forth. This then makes Omuniuum penetrated into other fields such as musical performances, workshops, discussions, art exhibitions and other activities that support retail activities conducted by Omuniuum. . By 2015, Omnispace collective occupies the third floor of Ciumbuleuit 151B. As an alternative gallery, Omnispace contributes a lot of creative and artistic ideas to many of the activities carried out by Omuniuum as well as enhancing Omuniuum's power as a hub that brings together many parties from a variety of cross-disciplines and professions. Currently, Omuniuum has been heavily involved in organizing musical performances both as ticket venues, opening merchandise booths at show venues, as part of organizers as a committee, as well as a band management consultant and show.
