OMTEL Information

OMTEL is the first independent tower company in Portugal, with the largest portfolio of mobile telephony tower sites in the country. With nearly 3,000 mobile tower and rooftop sites, OMTEL provides critical infrastructure supporting mobile connectivity across mainland Portugal, as well as the Azores and Madeira islands. Our mission is to further develop the electronic communications sector in Portugal. OMTEL’s sites provide mobile operators with an efficient solution to increase the coverage and densification of their networks, enabling them to address increasing data demands from consumers in a more effective and economic way. We aim to actively promote infrastructure sharing amongst telecom operators through an independent tower portfolio and thereby set a new path for deployment of world-class, next generation telecom networks in Portugal.
