Since 1986, OMNEX Control Systems ULC has been designing and manufacturing the most secure, reliable and robust radio remote control and fixed industrial wireless solutions in the industry. As an early adopter of Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) radio technology for mobile industrial applications, our first generation of industrially hardened FHSS remote control products were specifically designed to replace pendant controllers in the shipping industry to create safer, more productive jobsites. These early products worked so well in the industrial space that OMNEX readily became the leading supplier of robust, 'never-fail' remote controls to the shipping, concrete pumping and placement, and mobile boom industry. Our fixed industrial wireless I/O and networking products grew out of our remote control successes, as we migrated our proprietary FHSS technology, trademarked Trusted Wireless™ to monitoring and control processes in fixed plant and field environments. This lead to cutting-edge, enterprise-wide wireless infrastructure solutions for water/waste water management plants, oil and gas extraction and refining, process manufacturing and more. Today, we serve our varied customer needs through two core business units, Mobile Control and Industrial Wireless. As a recognized innovator and sought after partner, we design and build both off-the-shelf and custom industrial communication solutions -- featuring Trusted Wireless™ and standards based radio technologies -- for some of the world’s largest and most respected mobile machine OEMS and automation control and instrumentation companies.
