Ombitron provides a hardware enabled Platform for the Industrial Internet of Things. We provide a programmable cellular gateway, cellular data connectivity, and a back-end cloud platform for building applications and products. Currently it’s expensive and time consuming to bring a new connected product to market. Using the Ombitron hardware enabled Platform, we cut this time and expense by a factor of 20. We’re passionate about it because instead of focusing our efforts on one or two niche verticals, we’re enabling companies in tens of thousands of verticals to bring new connected products to market. We remove the need for companies to: • Develop specialized hardware and software • Submit to expensive and time consuming FCC, PTCRB, and carrier certification • Monitor device cellular connectivity • Develop a back-end infrastructure for managing device data
