Offbeat Advising, LLC Information

Offbeat connects high school students to current college students who have recently been through the college application and decision process and can provide extracurricular, academic, and social insight on universities. As shelter-in-place orders and job insecurity issues are now affecting many families due to the Covid-19 crisis, many students are unable to pay for expensive college counseling services or visit universities to make their decisions. To us, the crisis illuminated an ongoing issue: not all students have access to the same resources regarding college applications, and for an investment as important as college, we feel that affordable and relevant advice should be made available.
