Founded in 2009, Objektiv Press began as a bi-annual journal of lens-based art. Since 2020, we have transitioned to a more book-like publication, where we invite different people - photographers, critics, curators - to reflect on their relationship with photography through a longer essay, or a shorter text for our Afterimage series on the webjournal. Objektiv Press was founded and is run by Nina Strand. Ida Kierulf and Susanne Østby Sæther have been on the editorial board since the first issue, Brian Sholis and Lucas Blalock joined the board in 2016. Our boooks can be found at Tronsmo, Torpedo, Bastardbok and through Tekstallmenningen in Norway. Librairie Yvon Lambert in Paris and through Antenne Books and Printed Matter. Contact us to find out more about our prints and our back issues. Please note that we don't accept unsolicited submissions.
