NZLocums is a government funded general practitioner (family physician) recruitment service that recruits doctors to work in rural general practice in New Zealand. It is funded to ensure all rural New Zealanders have access to quality health care. We have a strong understanding of the issues facing rural primary health care and because of this, our experienced health recruitment staff offer a unique and dedicated degree of support in its recruitment activities. NZLocums provide a CME accredited, three-day orientation programme to overseas GPs, so that doctors can hit the ground running when they arrive at the practice.
