Empowering Generation J. We are creating a new time for JCC Chicago. Our board, our leadership, our staff and our community believes in the collective impact of the Jewish spirit and is moving forward on an ambitious course of action with an urgent sense of purpose. Shir Hadash is an evolving, vibrant, growing Reform Jewish congregation dedicated to providing a vital Jewish life, spiritual growth, and a sense of community for its members. Our name means “New Song,” and as a congregation we worship together through Song, Torah Study, and Community. Founded in 1980, our congregation now numbers more than 600 member families.
