NorthLED is a Danish lightning technology company, founded in 2015 by Joan & Kenneth Saxskiold. We are specialized in developing our own high-performance light solutions. Our focus is on sports lighting, area lighting and creative special projects. Compared to most light producers, we have a different approach. We LOVE sports and we take the environment, nature and our planet very seriously. We have a clear mission: We want to create much more energy efficient and environmentally friendly light solutions. For instance, the Ligalight optical technology that we patented in 2016. We have based our proprietary and patented technology on state-of-the art technology developed in close cooperation with The Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
