The team, headed by founder Sarah Jane Nielsen, have recently been recognised for their work on the Gilpin Hotel Spa Suites with an International Hotel and Property Award, which saw them secure the winner’s prize in the Best Hotel Suite Europe category. Offering an exclusive yet highly personalised service, Nielsen House's signature style of a Lake District/Scandi fusion blends the classical with the contemporary, delivering designs that combine sophistication with practicality and always exceed expectations. Their approach is customer-focused, putting clients at the heart of the designs – and with a wealth of expertise and access to experienced associates, they are able to provide a host of services. In addition to their interior design schemes, the Nielsen House team are also able to offer project management, procurement and personal shopping, interior architecture, installation, and, depending on client requirements, a range of other related services. Whilst drawing upon extensive global experience and influences and with a vast library of suppliers from across the world, with a love for the Lake District, Nielsen House try, where possible, to use local businesses including artisan makers and crafts people.
