We are the UK largest voluntary register of electrical businesses. We assess over 38,000 businesses to ensure that the installation work they undertake meets the standards expected to keep us all safe. But we are so much more than that we: - assess and provide certification for renewable energy installers - assess plumbers - and gas and heating engineers We also provide industry leading training and consulting services for the building and construction sectors. Our focus is supporting firms to help improve their businesses. NICEIC has developed a reputation amongst consumers, specifiers of work and industry for promoting safety, integrity and technical excellence. All our contractors undergo a rigorous assessment process, covering a representative sample of their work, their premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of their key supervisory staff. Contractors are then re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance. Assessment work undertaken is independently accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service.
