Our vision is simple. To ensure that everyone in Derby and the extended community is aware of and has access to basketball at our Derby Trailblazers. There are many opportunities for people of all ages to get involved with the sport at different levels, whether as a player, coach, official, administrator, or volunteer. Founded in 2005, Bristol Flyers are a professional basketball club competing in the nation's top-tier competition, the British Basketball League (BBL). The Flyers are owned and managed by Bristol Sport, who also operate Bristol City FC and Bristol Rugby, and are based at Ashton Gate Stadium. In addition to the BBL team, Flyers operate comprehensive academy, youth, women's and community programmes. Bristol Flyers are partnered with SGS College and play their home games at the SGS College Arena, regularly selling out it's 700+ capacity. Flyers produce extensive digital coverage and games are broadcast live through BBC Sport, Bet365, international subscription site LiveBasketballTV and Facebook Live. Join the Flyers journey... The Flyers pride themselves on their ability to continually form and develop mutually beneficial partnerships, with over 25 local, national and international organisations currently engaged. Partnership opportunities include advertising and branding; strategic partnerships; player and game sponsorship; community sponsorship; digital opportunities; and supplier agreements. Bespoke and comprehensive partnership activation has resulted in a near-perfect retention rate each season. Whilst helping to grow the club both on and off the court, key partnerships will also help the Flyers to achieve their core short-term goal: building a purpose built basketball arena to serve both the club and the community. Bristol is now the biggest UK city without an arena and Flyers providing this would enable more spectators; more community delivery; high-profile sport and entertainment events; and conferencing and events facilities.
