New England Coalition for Cancer Survivorship Information

The New England Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NECCS) exists to Educate, Advocate for and Empower those whose lives have been affected by cancer in the New England region. NECCS is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization comprised of patients/survivors, family members, friends, caregivers, and cancer-related organizations who work together to address the common issues that affect quality of life for New England cancer survivors. The Coalition believes cancer survivorship begins at the life-altering moment of diagnosis and continues as the patient, their family, friends and caregivers live with, through, and beyond cancer. Those affiliated with the Coalition are committed to the cancer survivorship movement because they understand the challenges of the disease and its treatments. In many cases, Survivors are helping Survivors. NECCS’: provides resources about issues relating to cancer and cancer survivorship; advocates on behalf of those touched by cancer; and strives to empower cancer survivors, family members, friends, and caregivers by creating a strong survivorship community which celebrates survivorship and honors those who are working tirelessly to make an impact in the survivorship movement.
