Hard Rock Cafe, Inc. was founded in 1971 by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton in London. In 1979, the Cafe began covering its walls with rock and roll memorabilia, a tradition which expanded to others across the world. Today, it serves guests quality menu items and memorable experiences. We are committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion. DE&I aims to address the needs of all team members – including Native Americans, women, LGBTQ+ community, people of color (BIPOC), people with disabilities and military veterans. Diversity: is the celebration of differences and leveraging those difference to produce stellar results. Equity: is a process of seeking fairness through deliberate and intentional actions. We would like to give a huge THANKS to YOU for the ongoing love, loyalty, and support that you have shown to us over the years. After almost a quarter century of its operation, sadly, Café Frida a historic icon of Mexican food on the UWS closed its doors last spring due to Covid-19, but only to revive, into a re-awakened vision and more profound concept, keeping Cafe Frida's legacy of high quality and honest food. We also want you to know that we intend to keep the Café Frida brand, memory, and tradition alive through pop-up events, catering services, and menu items at our recently opened sister. We hope to see you at COVACHA soon, where Western México meets the American Northeast.
