Needlite Information

Needlite™ is the intelligent desk lamp, which brings the powerful daylight to you while you work. Daylight is essential because it affects and controls several body and mind functions. It has a significant positive effect on the energy level, mood and productivity, and regulates the sleep cycle and digestion among others. The effect that daylight has – and the lack hereof – has thoroughly documented. But being outside all day to get enough daylight isn’t an option for many of us anymore. We developed Needlite™ because we wanted a smart, realistic daylight therapy solution, that fits the modern office life, works while you work and doesn't require any extra actions. No matter how bright your indoor light is, it doesn’t have the same biological and mental effect. Indoor light simply lacks the necessary strength but most importantly: it contains almost none of the crucial blue part of the light (around wavelength 465 nm) that is most important to our wellbeing and have the effect described above. Needlite™ provides exactly that kind of health light, making it your constant source of energy. And you can use it as a regular desk lamp too. At Needlite we want to encourage more people to discover - and take advantage of - the benefits of daylight. Follow us here for updates on how you can use the power of daylight for a better life.
