Strathmore University is a Chartered University located in Nairobi, Kenya. It was the first multiracial and multi religious educational institution in English speaking Eastern Africa and more recently the first institute of higher learning to be ISO certified in East and Central Africa in 2004. Our mission is to provide all-round quality education in an atmosphere of freedom and responsibility; excellence in teaching, research and scholarship; ethical and social development; and service to society.
Welcome to Hillcrest International Schools − a group of schools that is committed to inspiring each and every child to achieve their own individual personal excellence and to grow to become a valuable member of the global community in which we live.
Guided by the British Curriculum we cater for children aged 18 months to young adults aged 18 years. By stimulating each individual’s abilities and talents within an atmosphere of mutual respect, we aim to ensure Semper Prospice (always looking forward) is a life-long quest. A valuable boarding resource is offered to children in Prep and Secondary to complement our learning environment and cater for those families who live further afield or juggle work travel with family life.
Strathmore began as a Sixth Form College offering a full range of Arts and Science subjects. At that time the full name was Strathmore College of Arts and Sciences.
