MyCognition has developed NHS approved apps that assess and promote brain health through cognitive fitness. The apps are CE Marked (class 1A medical device) and recently we obtained a prestigious UCL award for our research. Our apps work on all devices, in all settings, are self-administrated and provide insightful reports and automatically assess to personalise cognitive training. They work in people of all ages, gender and health states. MyCognition enhances brain health and performance through the use of our cognitive fitness assessment and training programmes, which are self-administered, easy to access and easy to use. The programmes are based on evidence obtained from our 5 years of R&D clinical trials, case studies and real world experiences in businesses, schools and the community. Our innovative approach meets significant unmet needs and is based on advances in neuroscience (applying neuroplasticity) and new technological developments. We measure, monitor, and enhance mental performance through our greater understanding of cognitive fitness. Poor cognitive fitness is a significant component of, and a major risk factor in all mental illnesses. By improving cognitive fitness, we treat mental illness, reduce your chances of becoming mentally ill, while at the same time we improve your experience of daily life, sharpening your mind to get more out of life. This "resetting" of the mind has many benefits. The original inspiration behind MyCognition was to improve the quality of life for individuals with cognitive deficits due to conditions such as Dementia’s / Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. However we quickly realised the benefits that enhanced cognitive function bring to all environments at all ages.
