My Escuelita Information

We offer year-round classes-including 3 hours Pre-School classes, Spring and Summer camps as well as private classes (Pre-Schools and private homes). Our classes are taught in Spanish, using best practices in second language acquisition and world language instruction. One of our main objectives is for children to make a strong connection between having fun and learning a second or third language. We believe that a child who has fun while learning a world language, will not only do well, but he or she will become a life-long learner. We feel blessed to be a part of that journey! Over the past 8 years, My Escuelita has provided Spanish language instruction to families in Westchester at Loyola Marymount University Child Center, City of El Segundo, Hawthorne, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Westchester, and at Trinity Lutheran Preschool. Currently our Spanish immersion Summer Camps are conveniently located at the Wiseburn School District: Anza and Cabrillo Schools (Hawthorne, CA), Trinity Lutheran School (Hawthorne, CA) as well as various private locations in El Segundo, Westchester and Los Angeles. Classes in the Wiseburn Schools and are open to all students...you are not required to live within the local district or neighborhood in order to enroll. All families are welcome! In addition to Mattel Child Center in El Segundo, Irma is teaching Spanish at Beach Babies (all four child development sites) in the South Bay and Taco Bell Headquarters in Orange County! My Escuelita: Spanish for Kids has also enjoyed a transformation this year...not only is it a place where children and parents learn Spanish but it has become a community center for families to meet other like minded families, share culture, language and support other community members. My Escuelita: Spanish for Kids host Special Events that supports both Spanish and English language development, multiculturalism as well as develops relationships with an extended community of artist, dancers, musicians, teachers, business owners and more!
