Morlees is a family owned and operated business founded in 1965 by Morton Lee Grodner (Morlee) and his brother Jack Grodner. After his brother's death, Morton ran the store with his nephew Lenny. Morlees began as a Men's Store that sold leisure suits. Then in the early 1980's Morlees became the first Nike account in Jersey City and transformed itself into Jersey City 's premier Hip Hop store. Morlees keeps changing as the fashion trends do. After almost fifty years Morlees is still family owned and run. Morlees continues to serve Jersey City as a clothing and footwear store for men, women and kids.
