Montpellier Agglomération is the local authority overseeing inter-communal cooperation between our 31 city members, including the regional capital Montpellier, Southern France. To make it simple, we manage the organisation and development of the urban environment and are the keepers of common interests regarding: •economic development; •urban development and transports; •social balance and housing; •creation and support of cultural and sport events and initiatives; •construction, development, maintenance and management of cultural and sports facilities; •collection, elimination and recycling of household and assimilated waste; •waste water treatment; •flood control planning
