Moltech Power Systems are the European Leader in Smart Battery design and manufacture. Our innovative products provide OEM's across the world with high quality smart battery solutions that give them leading edge device power management. Because all customers requirements are different, we offer two routes to smart battery technology - Standard or Custom. The standard route allows customers to take advantage of an existing, proven design. This saves development and tooling costs, and reduces lead-time because the parts are already available. In some cases, a standard battery can be customised to suit a particular customer need - e.g. firmware, labeling or protection device changes. Moltech standard batteries meet all current transportation requirements and are supported by a range of accessories. The custom route provides total flexibility in design. We work closely with our customers to fully understand the application requirements before selecting a suitable rechargeable system and cell model. We then design and integrate custom electronics (electronic fuel gauge and active protection) which provide the battery with it's 'intelligence'. Parallel to this, our mechanical engineers package the solution to minimize weight whilst ensuring compliance with all appropriate regulatory and transportation standards. If required, we will have the battery tested for UL certification and UN Transportation compliancebefore delivering the finalized custom battery on time and within budget. Moltech can also provide a custom charging / calibrating solution to complement the smart battery if required.
