Mojo Portfolio Information

For over 40 years, J K Fine Art Editions Co./Mojo Portfolio has been actively engaged in Fine Art printmaking and publishing of contemporary prints. Master printer Joseph Kleineman developed his skills through many years of printmaking in the major ateliers of France where the greatest artists of the century had made their mark. Joseph came to New York in 1974, bringing with him a unique expertise and passion for excellence. In 1975, he opened his own studio and quickly earned a reputation for distinguished printmaking. In 1980, Maureen Turci joined the atelier. By 1993, Maureen (Mo) and Joseph (Jo) established Mojo Portfolio, and began publishing original, limited-edition prints, with a focus on African American artists. Together as J K Fine Art Editions Co./Mojo Portfolio, they have collaborated with a long list of prominent artists such as Pierre Alechinsky, Karel Appel, Guillaume Corneille,Walasse Ting, Will Barnet, Chaim Gross, Lester Johnson, Alice Neel, Raphael Soyer, Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Jacob Lawrence, Hughie Lee-Smith, Ernest Crichlow, James Denmark, Jonathan Green, to name a few. In addition, they have produced work for such outstanding museums as The Brooklyn Museum, NY; The Museum of Modern Art, NY; The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, NY; The Mint Museum, Charlotte, NC; and The Smithsonian, Washington, D.C.
