Mirs Communications Ltd. was established in 1994 in order to provide advanced communication services. The Company was acquired during 2010 by the ALTICE Group owned by Patrick Drahi specializes in operating companies in the telecommunication field accross many countries in the world. Mirs employs more than 1,100 people and provides cellular services to approximately 500,000 customers in the private, business, institutional, municipal and security-related sectors, including walky-talky services and a wide variety of added value services tailored to the managerial and operational needs of its customers. Jointly with the high survivability, which is built-in in the communication network of Mirs, it can provide preference to defined authorities and connect between various organizations in real time. The services provided by Mirs to all the significant emergency, rescue- and security-related organizations in Israel - make it in practice the emergency network of the civil home-front in Israel. The fact that Mirs won a tender for UMTS frequencies 3.9 Generation cellular operator in April 2011 opens a new horizon for innovation and providing cellular communication under advanced technology. In an infrastructure aspect, the Company will offer its private, business and institutional customers communication solutions and unique value offers which will provide tailored solutions to their needs.
