Globe Lighting
Check us out on facebook. Globe Lighting is the Pacific Northwest's leading source for an exceptional choice of quality lighting fixtures and accessories. With seven locations in the Pacific Northwest and our newest store – Destination Lighting – on the World Wide Web, we've got you covered. A Rich Legacy In 1960 John Dolan opened his first electrical and plumbing store, A-Boy Supply. With the responsibility of a large family to feed, John put in long hard hours to insure success. Eventually he realized the need for a store that specialized in lighting fixtures where both area builders and homeowners could shop. In 1978 he opened the first Globe Lighting store in Southeast Portland. The demand was so overwhelming that a few short months later he opened a 2nd store in Beaverton. Since then we haven't looked back. In 1996 we acquired Seattle Lighting, and Builders Lighting. We now have 14 stores in 3 states.
