Minecon BV Information

Minecon BV (founded 2010) acts as trading agent for Silmer SA in France. In the Benelux and German speaking areas we are marketing rare calcinated minerals that are being used in a wide range of industries; road marking, asphalt, ceramics, architectural and infrastructural concrete, plasters, coatings and paints, (industrial) flooring systems etc. The material is very white, hard, insensitive to most chemicals,frost and heat and has excellent anti-slip, reflectory and insulating properties. Minecon endeavours to quickly expand its product range and improve its service levels to existing and potential customers in related industries and similar geographic markets.Since the beginning of 2011, we have started a partnership with Storimpex Group from Hamburg area,Germany. Storimpex complements our product range with secondary construction materials and an in-depth knowledge about the application of reflecting granulates in asphalt, as well as offering high value products to enhance recycling asphalt levels as well as reducing the dependence on (newly manufactured and expensive) bitumen. Our main goal is to enhance awareness amongst governmental bodies and road constructors that using Granusil and Storbit can significantly decrease the quantity of new raw materials used in asphalt as well as bringing working temperatures down. Significant savings on road lighting (intensity as well as number of masts) will further contribute to CO2-reduction.
